With your recurring paychecks, Social Security and pension checks, you can automatically deposit them into a designated account at CU Community.
Some advantages of Direct Deposit include:
- It's fast: your money will be in your account on payday whether you're sick, on vacation, or just too busy to run by the credit union.
- It's safe: you won't have to worry about your paycheck getting lost or stolen.
- It's reliable: Your funds are insured up to $100,000 immediately upon deposit, and you can easily access your funds anytime, anywhere with online banking, mobile banking, and even at ATMs.
To Get Started: Simply complete a direct deposit form and submit it to your payroll department, Social Security office, or other areas of income. You will need:
- Credit Union's routing number (ABA): 286582708
- Your account number: For direct deposit into your savings, you'll only need your 5-digit account number. This is found in the upper right corner of your monthly statement. For direct deposit into your checking, please include your entire 14-digit member number. This is found at the bottom of your checks. If you do not know your account number, contact us.
Once you've automatically deposited your funds, with Payroll Deduction you can have a specified amount of your direct deposited paycheck sent instantly to another deposit or loan account at CU Community.
If you do not have Direct Deposit, you can still take advantage of Automatic Transfers to have a specific amount of funds transferred automatically each month on a designated date. This is a great way to pay off loans or to build savings, effortlessly.
